Watauga College 40th Anniversary Reunion
SAVE THIS DATE: SEPTEMBER 21-23. You are invited to attend the 40th Anniversary Reunion of Watauga College to be held in the Living Learning Center, a complex built for us in 2003. Those of you who were in Watauga Hall in ‘72 and ’73 and the majority of you, who were in East Hall, will be astonished at the new digs. We hope to have as many of you as possible to celebrate forty years of what we hope has been innovative, exciting, and challenging education. We will honor Jim Stines, one of the three founders of our program. Retired professors such as Leighton Scott, J. Mackey, Pete Reichle, Peter Petschauer, Marv Williamsen, and many others are expected to attend. Bud Gerber and Jay Wentworth, who have entered phased retirement, will be here. Many former faculty, directors, and staff will be here, so we hope you’ll make that extra effort to join us.
