Boos & Brews Halloween 5k - Avery Brewing - Colorado Brewery Running Series

We are the Colorado Brewery Running Series and we run for beer!
Join us for our Boos & Brews Halloween 5k run at Avery Brewing on Saturday, October 26th @ 11AM.  The event will feature a 5k-ish course that starts and ends at this awesome brewery.  Costumes are highly encouraged, and prizes will be awarded for the best male, female, and group costume! Weave through the surrounding area at whatever pace you like, no matter what, there's a beer waiting for you at the finish line!
We are all about being active, having fun and giving back to our local community. +10% of your registration dollars go directly to local non-profits!

ABOUT THE RUN:  
This may be different than other "races" you've done. We like to keep things relaxed, and all of our events are untimed so everyone can run or walk at their own pace. Instead of closing down the streets, we ensure a safe and fun running route on sidewalks, through parks, and along trails. The course is staffed with encouraging volunteers to cheer you on and point you back to the brewery for your much-deserved beer!
EVENT DAY DETAILS:
Please arrive 30 minutes before the start to get checked-in.
Bring a valid ID. You do not need to be 21 to enjoy the event, but must be 21 to enjoy the beer. Please drink responsibly! (Registered, underage participants receive a complimentary non-alcoholic beverage).
This is an open course, meaning roads will NOT be closed. You are responsible for obeying all traffic laws and regulations. 
We run rain or shine! Dress appropriately for the weather.
There will not be a bag check; please plan accordingly.
Bring extra money if you want to purchase food, more beer, or any of our great Colorado Brewery Running Series merchandise!

All participants receive a FREE craft brew from the brewery and get to take home a collectors pint glass or seasonal swag item from the Brewery Running Series...plus goodies and giveaways from our partners and sponsors + a chance to win sweet door prizes and more free beer!  Your registration also earns you an invitation to stick around and enjoy the day's entertainment: live music, food offerings, local vendors, and fun with our sponsors.
Colorado Brewery Running Series merchandise, including shirts, hats, stickers, heat press brewery logos, and seasonal items will be available at the event.  You can also add on a Brewery Running Series T-shirt for $10 at the time of registration, and pick it up when you check-in on site.
WHAT WE'RE ABOUT: 
Our motto = be active, have fun, give back! In addition to pairing some exercise with great craft beer, a portion of all proceeds goes back to local non-profits. We are very proud that the Colorado Brewery Running Series has so far donated over $16,000 to local non-profits! 10% of our proceeds help support our nonprofit partners, which in 2019 will be, The House that Beer Built, Dumb Friends League, The National MS Society, The MSU Denver Beer Industry Program, and Range of Motion Project
PARKING: 
There is plenty of parking around the brewery, but we encourage carpooling, biking, and public transit, and as always safe, designated drivers!
