Trauma Informed Oregon Training
Trauma Informed Oregon (TIO) is excited to be able to provide this free foundational training. This training is for anyone who has not had a basic overview of trauma informed care.
A Free Training on:
What trauma-informed care is (and is not)
The impact of acute and complex trauma on accessing and engaging in services
How service systems, unknowingly, may re-traumatize/activate survivors of complex trauma
The principles of trauma-informed care and examples for implementing these into practice.
You will also hear an overview of the role of Trauma Informed Oregon (TIO), and about how TIO can help support trauma-informed care in your system.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
We have a limited # of spots available and may have a waitlist, so tickets will not be transferrable.
Is there any cost for this training?
No. This event is free.
What are my transport/parking options once I get to the training?
There are a few spots at the event center and 5 hour paid parking around the event center. Please download parking map here for directions.

Will there be food?
Yes, coffee, tea, water and morning pastries will be available.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
It is not necessary to have a printed ticket. We will have a list of all registered participants' names at the door when you check in.
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
Name tags will be created for all participants so please make sure the name on the registration is the one you would like on your name tag.
Is the event site accessible?
Yes it is, but please contact Ambridge Event Center for more information.
Who should attend?
Anyone who is interested in a basic overview of trauma informed care, and work or participate in systems that serve a population that has experienced trauma.
